This video is insane! So many tricks went down in the pro and am final it was unreal. Here is the official Rampworx video from the contest.
Be-Mag always looks for the up and comers enriching our sport with some fresh and new style. If you have been at the Winterclash 2010 you may have witnessed one new kid flowing around the park with huge airs and lots of power. The talk is about Andy Gilbert, the Liverpool kid that's talented like only a few in his age. We contacted Andy through Matthew Dearden (Rampworx) and asked him if he could do a "One Minute One Spot" for us. The guy doesn't talk much, he just does it. So here is his answer to our request. Thanks to Matthew Dearden for organizing this One Minute One Spot!
So, everyone has arrived safe and sound. The Razors guys landed fresh off the German tour and the entire UK scene has driven/trained/hitchhiked down south to sunny England to pitch a tent.

After another endless nightshift here comes the Chaz Sands update including an eight minute edit showcasing the REMZ beasts on the Rampworx playground. Everyone has most likely heard about Julius Caesar's famous statement: "Veni, vidi, vici" (meaning "I came, I saw, I conquered"). If you now ask yourself what Caesar has to do with the Chaz Sands Invite, then just watch this edit and you can easily see CJ Wellsmore living out "Veni, vidi, vici" again.
It went off! CJ is a machine, you will have to wait for the edits to drop to find out what went down.
The Valo Team did pretty well at this year's Chaz Sands competition: Chihiro Azuma (Japan) won the girls competition, Elliot Stevens (England) took the third place at the Amateur competition and Soichiro Kanashima placed third at the Pro competition. Valo apparently didn't sleep last night since they worked on this nice contest feature showing some exclusive Valo footage from the comp. Enjoy!
We have 2 car sponsors for this years event, Nissan and Renault. They arrived a day early to get some promo shots for an upcoming ad campaign. Rampworx local Andy Gilbert and Chaz Sands performed some synchronised skating whilst avoiding 2 brand new cars.
Time to look ahead to the Slamm Jamm 13. Here is a short recap edit of what went down in the past years of this traditional UK rolling contest.
Quoting Matthew Dearden from Rampworx: "We opened up the Rampworx doors on a Monday night once again for the local Inline Skaters. Over 100 people showed up for a chilled out session. Rollerblade hooked us up with a pair of skates to give away to the winner of the contest on our new box. Rob Pruett took the win with a sick rail to rail combo.
The responsible people at Rampworx are constantly pushing the limits. Check out their latest installment here:
