Adapt Brand was founded in 2012 by Pieter Wijnant and Olga Bouwhuis and was officially launched at last year's Winterclash. The Dutch based company is still going strong and they are releasing new and improved models for 2013. Be-mag took some time to speak with the pair at their office in Den Haag to discuss the growing pains of a new blade company, product innovations as well as the collaboration with Be-mag on our limited edition 15th anniversary boot.

When Daniel Kinney threw the first ever Bittercold Show Down in 2001 the event was just a one-day event with 150 competitors, had no extra stage for spectators, no additional ramp set-ups - the event didn't even have an own website.

With a huge event such as the 2011 Bitter Cold Show Down, photographers are never too far away and ready to get that epic shot. This year it would be no different for me. During our 13 hour drive from NYC to Royal Oak, MI I had ample amount of time to contemplate how my shots of this weekends events would differ from others. The shots that make headlines would of course be taken on the floor where all the action happens. But sometimes we forget that these competitors are also fans of rollerblading themselves.
Our good friends Noah Zipser, James Fisher and Sean Quinn organized the Delta City Open #3 in the heart of Detroit. Hawke Trackler filmed, chopped and edited this fantastic HD video from the skating that went down.
