Przemek Górczyk is an up and comer from Wroclaw. He is one of the Hedonskate Young Gun riders who finally gets some exposure. The scene in Wroc?aw has always been quiet, yet with the arrival of Wiktor Kwapisz and his camera, the local rollers have a good chance to present their skills. Przemek got our attention by winning the Never Winter Jam amateur contest back in 2009 and proved himself with good actions in 2010 like a sick profile in Sisiloco DVD and edits like this below. Przemek belongs to the new generation of bladers in Poland - skilled and strongly willing to take his passion one step further - watch out for this Hedonskate Young Gun in future!
This sping I had the great chance to visit Poland and the production facilities of the Rat-Tail Europe Lines in Katowice. Since I had never been to Poland before, I decided to extend my trip for some days.
The summer was super busy for Hedonskate Team – we had two big tours: one through Sweden and the one through Romania. Since the whole Hedonskate Team consists of 15 people we had the possibility to send different riders to all the trips. Yet we felt it was way too long that we hadn't had a gathering of a complete team in one place so we thought about another adventure – this time a more relaxed one with no hurry and deadlines, more focused on getting photos for the upcoming 2011 Hedonskate calendar and getting the crew together.
If you think of Rollerblading in Poland you might think of two things at least: Hedonskate and Adam Zurawiecki. Adam is a strong pillar in the Polish skate scene. If you look up his name on youtube, you will find a dozen edits that kicks ass. After a decade of hard skating Adam is still stepping up the game - not only with his skating, but also with his never ending dedication to the sport and some interesting ideas that will make Rollerblading look good and strong. For his Be-Mag interview Adam didn't come up with the normal street skate and interview shots. That's not his nature. instead, he was looking for some extraordinary stuff.
1996/99 – The peek of rollerblading popularity in Poland. Without cellphones, internet and the Be-Mag messageboard, every rail in the city was occupied by random group of bladers, who were just class mates or friends from the hood. Local TV stations broadcasted various rollerblading footage and when you wanted to know what's up with the industry you could just picked up a magazine from a newstand - polish ones as well as foreign ones like Daily Bread or Box.
Hedonskate is making moves. They now expanded their team and have added a bunch of new skaters. To celebrate this and to show what the hedonskate team is all about they launched their own team website. There you can see behind the scenes looks with their team, the latest pictures, blog posts and of course also video files...

Hedonskate owner Mirek Ragan does a lot for rollerblading by sponsoring contests, the Hedonskate team and running a great shop! Still people easily overlook the fact that he is a skilled rollerblader himself, too! Check out this nicely cut edit of Mirek shredding up his home turf!
Here we go with a short edit featuring Hedonskate supporter Mateusz Radziszewski in Wroclaw.
A short edit with interviews with most of the Pros who were at this year's Winterclash.
