We had a good hour of session, and the sign-ins of skaters in the competition was finally over. The new spot at the SEB buildings was just as we expected it to be: great for rollerblading. The surface made of smooth concrete turning and tossing like a river down a lazy sloped hill, with the occasional curb to skate and a big two meter gap in the ending made it a rollerblading fantasy.
Our videographer on site, Ronni Skovmand, just sent in this edit of Tuesday's demo at the skatepark that is part of Roskilde Festival. Richie Eisler, Erik Bailey, Alex Broskow, Dominik Wagner, Montre Livingston and the rest of the line-up presented blading pretty damn well! Check it out!
Ralf Monnerup is an upcoming talent from Denmark. He recently won the Camp 42 competition again. He went out that one chilly autumn day just to skate some sweet steet spots when he came up with the idea of making a One Minute One Spot edit for Be-Mag. It just took 10 to 15 minutes to film this great edit. Lean back and enjoy the show.
Showtime! Streetshow, bowlshow, fun sessions, chilling at the lake, parties in the skatepark, dancing people all over the camping area, sunburned, beers, Eric Koston, four hours sunrise, girls girls girls. Roskilde heaven. Welcome, bye bye, party on....
Nothing can stop the Scandinavians from lacing some real bangers. Even the worst weather condition and some pretty though handrails. In the end an unbeatable Jacob Juul took the senior comp and can now call himself the Scandinavian Real Street Contest champion 2011. Congrats.
