This past week we were given the opportunity to go to Woodward West and have an official Razors Week in the mountains of Tehachapi, California. During the week Dre Powell, Julian Bah, Rachard Johnson, Erik Rodriguez and myself were all able to be in attendance. For many years the name “Woodward” has been associated with great skate parks and a summer destination for extreme athlete enthusiasts. Growing up I never had the opportunity to experience the camp aspect of Woodward, it was not until I turned pro that I was able to visit the facility and enjoy everything they had to offer.

Razors USA was in the indoor skatepark in Amsterdam today. Although Brian Aragon and Dre Powell couldn't skate due to injuries from yesterday's Winterclash, they were making the local kids very happy by giving out autographs and just being at the park.

In the rolling world there is a lot of hype on the South America scenes recently. And that's simply justified. The scene below the equator is ripe and thriving right now. Earlier this year we featured the NIMH South America tour through Colombia, Ecuador, and Peru here on be-mag. Now Razors adventures the trip to South America as well. With their first tour stops in Chile they turned a whole national rolling community inside out. Make sure you check out this tour stop and you can already look forward to some more coverage (soon on be-mag exclusively) from this country which ranges over 39 lines of latitude from the North to the South. Thanks to William Lobos and his friends for all the work they put into this update. This update not only features the beauty of our sport, it features the beautiful things that comes with rollerblading: intercultural friendships, memories and experience.
On the eve of this year's Last Man Standing, the Razors team, along with many other rollerbladers, headed to Tri State Skate in Hillburn, NY to session Drop In Skate Park. Just another perfect way to continue this weekend of crazy blading here on the East Coast. We sent Ryan Loewy out to document the night and this is what he got.
Everyone is arriving. The Remz team is in the building, despite CJ's 30 hour flight around a volcano, they are all a bit delicate this afternoon after experiencing the Liverpool nightlife.
In Mallorca to get to see the best international skating we have always been used to having to move around and travel the closest to Barcelona. Our island is very appreciated by tourists from all around the world, because of its huge landscapes and incredible beaches; but us, the local skaters have never had the oportunity to see the big names skate our spots. With no doubt yesterday was a day none of us will forget. Just to see the faces of the youngest rollers observing their heroes that so many times the have seen in videos skating their plaza.
For this video I went on tour to Reno, Kansas City, Columbus, Philly, St. Louis, and everywhere around Colorado. My favorite part of tour is just being with all my boys and not having to worry about...

All healed up and ready to go, Winston is in the streets of San Clemente almost every day he can to film for the upcoming Razors vid. He's been skating so much in fact, that his hard drive is overloaded with clips from last year, so he had to sit down with his buddy, Alejoh, and put a little something together to keep us up to date on his skating.

Without a doubt one of the best years I've had in a long time and I am looking forward to what the 2012 horizon brings to rollerblading. -Max Manning

Following tradition Dre Powell choose a soft boot design also for his second pro skate. He completely redesigned the skin, chose suede leather and made it an integral part of the boot. The result is a clean look, minimal added weight and long durability. The first thing you will notice is a deep and solid sound when landing, which is due to a new shock and sound absorber in between the soul and the boot. Other new features are a new buckle receiver, pre-stretched waxed laces and a Jug liner specifically designed for Dre. The Dre 2 comes with the SL cuff which provides ultimate support and perfect flex and is loaded with branded parts such as GC’s Formula 1 XS frames and BHC wheels.
