Finally the wait is over! Sven, once again shows his skills as a Skater and also as a visionary and project manager! Its been while since Rollerblading had a concept that can capture the attention of the masses the way that Cityhopper did. Check out the vid and judge for yourself if it breaks out of the norm of Rollerblading edits, we are convinced that it does and that such projects will "Spread the Word!" in an absolutely positive way. Enjoy..
We are reporting live from Den Bosch in the Netherlands! Just a couple of minutes ago a local politician handed Sven his first ever Pro model. It took a successful 18 year long career combined with 16 years of riding and working for Rollerblade to receive the crown of it all, a pro skate. This is not the common Pro model story, which should be obvious if you have been following the media over the last few days.
Be-Mag ambassador Kevin Chow sat down with an utterly excited Stefan Horngacher at this years Winterclash. Peep it.
I can’t really remember how long we know each other... But at the time we first met, Matteo was the only German skater with good style. Sorry, that's how it was. He has always been a soul skater. And a playboy on wheels. He wanted to end his pro career at a very young age to skate just for the fun of it. He wanted to have sessions and to travel without any obligations to skate at a contest. Crazy ass dreamer, you say? But guess what: that is what he did! And until now he remains as the first of a complete generation of soul skaters I have met. He is now working on putting this into picture.
„Back to the roots!“ is this years Winterclash mission statement and so is ours! As we did it with the last rollTogether in Eindhoven, we are going to host another session right before the famous Winterclash! So Area51 will not only host one of the biggest competitions but also the biggest session within less than a month!

And most importantly: when will it open its doors? Read this interview with Hans Geiger, the person that instigated it all. Get ready to get the lowdown about the current state of Camp Woodward Europe. Exlusively on Be-Mag.

Here's the second State of Mind Webisode of the season: Wild (Woodward) West State of Mind. Some of you may know that I grew up rollerblading. Ya ya fruitbooter! ;) All jokes set aside, I really did love it and feel as though it's helped me become the skier I am today. Last summer, my girl Ashley Battersby and I rolled out to Woodward West in Cali on some windy days to get some foam pit action going. We had a blast, check it out! Right now I'm shredding in Mammoth getting ready for X, next webisode coming soon, stay tuned! -Kaya Turski
