Roskilde festival freshened up it's skatepark this year, and while they were at it they also put up a new bowl. Jeff Stockwell, Jacob Juul, Dominik Wagner and many others were brought in to look for some fresh lines, and they sure as hell found some!
Roskilde Festival is well underway and some of our top pro's are busting their asses representing rollerblading to the masses. Sven Boekhorst and Eito Yasutoko showed the audience what's up with vert skating. Check the edit for some serious airtime!
Some of the world's best rollerbladers are currently on a Danish island called Roskilde. Of course, they are there to enjoy one of the biggest music festivals on this earth, the Roskilde Festival, but also to represent our sport to a big audience. And they are doing an extreme good job as you can see in the edit. Watch Jon Bolino, Montre Livingston, Gabriel Hyden, Kare Lindberg, Jeff Stockwell and many more shredding the festivals new skatepark.
Peep this edit of the bowl contest! Erik Bailey, Tom Ahlqvist, Dominik Wagner and the rest of the pack showing their transition skills!
Watch Dominik Wagner, Montre Livingston, Daniel Nielsen, Timm Kittlitz and Senor Ivan Narez session the down ledge at the Skatepark of Roskilde. Looks like they're having a good time over there!
Our videographer on site, Ronni Skovmand, just sent in this edit of Tuesday's demo at the skatepark that is part of Roskilde Festival. Richie Eisler, Erik Bailey, Alex Broskow, Dominik Wagner, Montre Livingston and the rest of the line-up presented blading pretty damn well! Check it out!
While on tour around Europe, Montre Livingston also stopped by the Roskilde Festival. After Tuesday's demo, Johannes Jacobi took Montre aside and checked in with him about his current tour, his experience at the festival and the new SSM video for which the filming has just begun worldwide. Ronni Skovmand also prepared an edit of Montre which was filmed during the demo yesterday.
We've been to Roskilde many times now and we thought we were repaired for everything. This years demo – which was held in contest style – was by far the biggest one ever though! Conditions like temperature, sun and the large amount of girls in the audience pushed the riders' motivation to the maximum. After an hour of skating Erik Bailey finally saved his party program for the night by winning 1000 Roskilde Dollers!
Here we are again. The Roskilde Festival 2011 is running and it feels like it never stopped. Huge smiles all over the place and more happy vibes than you could handle in real live. The riders line-up is the best we had so far at the festival. We got riders from all over the world. While I'm writing this text, Montre is cruising the park and it seems like people are excited to see good rollerblading.
Like every year, Be-Mag will report live from the Roskilde Festival in Denmark. Denmark's old-school ripper Tom Ahlqvist is an important part of the rolling culture. Back in 1995 he destroyed each bowl in Europe with his epic lines. 15 years later he is still in the game rocking it with his timeless style.
Besides organizing Winterclash, hitting every major competition in Europe, wreaking havok at Roskilde and writing for Be-mag Jojo can actually skate. I guess rollerblading needs more people like him. We admit it, Jojo we love you.
.... and i mean it. Jojo has just posted a final update from Roskilde with 140 shots. Check this out!!!
