Stay In-Line Comp - This is our first event put together under the flag of S.I.L. Productions. A brand that I created three years ago as a way for people to see rollerblading through our eyes and through our friends. We hope to continue to have numerous events through out the year to bring the rolling community together and hopefully spark a fire in the younger generation to continue taking our sport to the level it should be.
Justin Brasco and myself have spent several weekends in New York this summer filming for his next online street section. We got washed out one day and decided to headed to Oil City Skate Park in Long Island, NY to wind down on the facilities' new shotgun ledges. Days earlier, Brasco picked up a sponsor with Create Originals and was eager to see what all the talk was about. Enjoy this One Minute One Spot as Justin Brasco tries in his new Create Original frames and puts his name down on Oil City Skate Park's shotgun ledges.
Throughout the long Winter on the East Coast, the Tri-State area spends Thurday nights at Shields Skate Park in Flemington, NJ. The Escape from New York Tour is an idea I came up with after spending a month and a half in California earlier this year. As I toured up and down the coastline I met some of the most amazing and memorable people I have ever encountered. I found myself submersed in deep conversation with industry legends such as Louis Zamora, Justin Eisinger, and Lonnie Gallegos. I can’t thank these guys enough for the insight they bestowed on me because without them I would have never manifested such a project.
