The X-Mas Jam in Hamburg, Germany is an institution. It has existed for a long time and each year it draws a large international crowd of skaters to compete. Besides being internationally renowned it has become the official German Championships competition, making it the most important contest for this nation.
One of Europe's longest running contests, the infamous X-Mas Jam, is taking place in Hamburg Germany next weekend. We talked to organizer Jonn Rübcke to see what we can expect from this years event and also how he plans to take the whole thing even further this year. Two days, competitors from all over Europe and 3000 € in prize money. This is going to be big!
Some of you may already have heard about Rollfest – the annual gathering that brings polish rollerbladers together during one summer week at seaside resort Triocity. This year we celebrated the 10th anniversary of this crazy event which was special in every possible way. Since 2009 Rollfest was able to serve as a gathering for even more participants due to the Baltic Games festival, which is treated as the climax of the Rollfest. I can easily say that's the biggest and most prestigious skatepark contest throughout the year. With attendance of bladers as Alex Broskow, Erik Bailey, Fredrik Andersson, Alex Burston, Dre Powell, Nils Jansons, Mark Wojda, Fritz Peitzner, Josh Glowicki, Scott Quinn or Dominik Wagner – just to name a few – you can be sure to expect a show of highest levels!

After the craziness that was last years believe in blading, this year was a must. It definitely didn't disappoint with some of the UK's finest skaters putting there bodies on the line for 1st place. The Razors team recently headed out to Latvia for a skate-comp. Of course the guys had some sessions before and after the skatecomp with the locals. And Reinis Petersons were there to capture the action.
Another successful Inline Only Night took place at the Rampworx Skatepark on monday 11th July. Despite lots of locals travelling to NASS the weekend before we still head a very healthy turn out including Razor Pro skaters Chaz Sands, Jenna Downing and Scott Quinn.
