After many passed deadlines, years of testing, research and design development the Xsjado 2.0 have finally arrived in your local skate shops. What took so long? What were the major changes? Will they make you skate as well as Stockwell and Farmer? Be-mag spoke with the Xsjado Pro team directly to find out a little bit more.
Valo supporter and German skater Patrick Ridder is the first to tell Be-mag readers what music inspires him on and off the blades.
It is hard to put into words how very much I enjoy Adam Johnson´s work. Not only does he know how to capture the aesthetics of rollerblading in a way that appeals to a vast majority of the rolling community, but in addition he seems to dedicate every breathing minute to rollerblading related projects, be it VX, Street Artist or whatnot. For the last few years Adam has been on the road constantly. The routine of buying a van and turning it into his mobile headquarter appears to have become a fixed segment of his life. After filming for On Top and Charging, both extremely well received projects, he still had the energy to put his all into yet another feat.
Contributors from Be-Mag come from all over the world. In fact, one of the aspects that make this media outlet so successful is the joint effort given from the rolling world covering every rideable inch of the globe. Aggressive skating, while seemingly non-existent to the pop-culture world, has grown in leaps and bounds over the past few years. The dynamic has changed in so many ways since the early 1990s that each aspect in growth of style, amplitude, technology, culture, etc. has gone through it’s own little piece of the overall revolution.
Everybody that watched 'Breakfast' and 'Lunch' sure appreciated the videos for what they were: documentations of incredible blading mixed with a little "Extra". The crew served highly entertaining videos that were spectacular evidence a blade video can – or should be – much more than just skating clips draped to a timeline. Ryan Loewy recently talked to Casey Geraghty, Mark Golembeski, John Lyke and Mike Dempsey to find out what the guys have been cooking up for their sequel video which goes by the name of – yes, you guessed correctly – 'Dinner'. Bon appétit!
Did you like The Truth? How about The Truth 2? Yeah, we thought so. Check out the interview!
After the success of the first Truth, we knew we had to bless our community with another. This time, using the funds we made from the first, we decided to invest in new camera equipment for higher quality and a more professional look. We also funded a 2 week tour with the help of our sponsors up the northern east coast and over and up to Canada.
hen you look at interviews, 99 % are all the same. Photos, interview, intro and some clever captions, that’s it. Though this maybe is interesting the first 253 interviews you read, it gets a little boring after some time...
The Truth is the first collaboration between Austin Paz and Brotherly Love™. I have seen Austin’s photos as well as his skating. Knowing how capable he is in everything he does can only make you juiced to buy this DVD. Colin and Sean Kelso are also well known for their outstanding skating...
We have just received the copies of Featuring the world and the DVDs will be sent out next week so be on the lookout. Here's the second big trailer.
David Sizemore made this beautiful edit of his recent stay in KCMO featuring Farmer, Broskow, SK, Nemo, himself, and others. There also is some great photos.
A little insight as to what is going on in KCMO: Farm is my neighbor and our crew is getting deep. We've become the central hub for blading in the United States, making it easier for us to join forces and be extremely productive. This is a little piece Farm and I wanted to share for our boot sponsor, Xsjado. -Sean Kelso
