It is hard to put into words how very much I enjoy Adam Johnson´s work. Not only does he know how to capture the aesthetics of rollerblading in a way that appeals to a vast majority of the rolling community, but in addition he seems to dedicate every breathing minute to rollerblading related projects, be it VX, Street Artist or whatnot. For the last few years Adam has been on the road constantly. The routine of buying a van and turning it into his mobile headquarter appears to have become a fixed segment of his life. After filming for On Top and Charging, both extremely well received projects, he still had the energy to put his all into yet another feat.
Ever since the first rolling videos hit the market in the early '90's, certain releases – such as 'The Hoax' and VG installments, or later published milestones like 'Coup de Tat' and 'Brain Fear Gone' – have changed not only the way people tend to look at and think about the specific scenes and rollerbladers portrayed, but also rolling culture itself. Even though I think it's too early to say what long term effect the release of GC.1 will have on the rolling world it undoubtedly has heightened my expectations regarding filming and video graphic techniques. Adding the extremely high production quality to the skills of one of the best teams in rollerblading yet, the math basically does itself. The Ground Control team video represents the passion and hard work Jon Elliott and his crew have put into their dream, resulting in one of the most spectacular videos to date.

Brian Moore is about to release his new DVD 'The City Never Sleeps'. After more than two years of filming for the video and a $10,000 investment Brian has finally come to an end! Watching the teasers and considering the positive feedback the film got after its premiere at the Hoedown Contest in Dallas you can be sure that this release will get your ass up from the sofa and strap on your skates. Although Brian said that he did this video mostly for himself, we think that this video is made for everyone. But decide for yourself: an in depth interview, two trailers and Brady Johnston's section from the video should provide a good basis for your decision on whether or not to get the flick! All of this after the jump…
Brian Moores video 'The City Never Sleeps' will be dropping in the near future. Here is an impressive little Promo Edit of Fritz Peitzner.

This Martin van Drunen Profile is part of my second skate DVD called 'Aorta' which was released in 2010. I never met Martin before this project, but only knew his skating from online edits and liked it a lot. So when we kidnapped him from his Rotterdam area and took him on several tours, we really got to know the guy. Martin is awesome, a very motivated pal. We love you sleepy! Normally I would say "yeah it was a great time in Barcelona thanks for everything" but there was no 'we' since you slept all the time. -Marnix Haak

It was 2 years ago when I went to French Guyana for my first internship organization Roller, in the overseas territories with the regional committee of Guyana 973. After much demonstration on my part, I had promised them that I will return with a professional of their choice. They have chosen without hesitation Mr Stephane Alfano to see his now famous 1260 °. At the beginning of this summer, we decided to go out and try to film an online section for Richard Karlsson, we managed to get a few good clips before he injured himself during the VLS competition and couldn't skate for the rest of the summer (and is still not back in full strength for some shreddin'). Big thanks to Zebastian Cassel and Johan Möller for giving me some extra clips so I could finish this. Enjoy! -Samuel Cabezas
