Saturday, November 27th, 2010 was the night of the highly anticipated fourth installment to the We Are Valo series titled Valo4Life, directed by Ivan Narez. This would take place in the Helen Mills Theater which is located on w26th st in Manhattan. NYC was ready for what the internet buzz calls ”One of the greatest skate movies to date”. The event which has been generated a lot of talk via facebook, was organised by Victor Callender who organizes such events as Last Man Standing, Battle My Crew and Let’s Roll NY sessions. As I walked into the theatre, the first object I notice is the Valo4life billboard which is positioned at the foot of the steps.

The WRS World Finals turned out to be one of the most epic events in the 2010 season. A huge line up of the world's best skaters came together after competing throughout the world all year long. As November 6th approached, it was clear that the Finals were anyone's game.
Be-Mag sent out Sam DeAngelis, Jeremy Stephenson, Drew Humphrey and Freddy White to the W.R.S. World Finals this past weekend to cover the event for us. X-mini Ambassadors Worapoj Boonnim from Thailand, Soichiro Kanashima from Japan and Franky Zhang from China headed to Singapore to compete in the AIL event at the Mettle Games held on 3rd and 4th December at the Xtreme Skate Park.

These days a lot of great skateparks have to face financial difficulties. Unfortunately the ASPO skatepark (Japan) - home to the infamous MFTBRAND Crew - is one of them. Even though the local skaters tried everything they could to avoid the final shutdown - in the end - it just wasn´t meant to be. Despite this being a sad occasion Soichiro Kanashima, Yuto Guto and the rest of the guys and girls made an effort putting together this sweet edit of their last session for us to enjoy.
9TO5Mixtape blesses us with footage from the Asian X-Games that took place in Shanghai, China a few weekends ago. Can't really tell from the edit if the course is too easy or if Soichiro Kanashima, Chris Haffey and Brian Aragon are just too damn good.
