On 14th of December 2013 The German Championships in Inline Street once again took place in the I-Punkt Skateland in Hamburg. It's an event with a long tradition, the first contest was back in 1995. Since a few years it's the official German Championship in Inline Street and one of the biggest contests in Germany. Like all the other years many skaters from all over Europe joined and came to Hamburg to compete and/or have a good time.

In December 2012 the annual Strive Apart was held again in Leipzig, Germany. The well-run local indoor skatepark called "Heizhaus" turned out to be a good host again on this very Tuesday evening. On Saturday June 2nd the Italian Blader Connection and the World Rolling Series held the Sicily Street Competition in Paterno, which is a small village near Catania, Italy. I arrived in Catania by taking a bus, then a ship, and then another bus from Rome. When I arrived there that morning, I ran into a little problem; there was no way to get to Paterno! No buses or trains went there on the weekend so I asked a taxi driver how much it would cost to get there. He told me 50€ but since the normal bus and train fares were 2,70€ I decided I would try to find another way.

On Saturday, November 26th, Rollvation presents The Invasion Rollerblading Contest held at The Promise Skatepark in Heerlen, the Netherlands (close to the German border). The contest will start at 1pm and will last until 9pm. Afterwards there will be a thrilling afterparty with DJ Sanderson, Batja, Bambix, Tantrum Desire, Sumavoid, Striner, VJ Loudanov and a special guest at Cafe Nieuwe Nor. Make sure to join the event and roll with some Dutch, Belgian and German friends.
