Ivan Narez has been a busy man lately. Filming, editing and constructing the deluxe STYDII series along with the upcoming Valo V video is a daunting task but he's up to it not only behind the camera but also in front of it. Take a quick peek at what we have in store for the latest print issue.
Zach Nelson and the crew from We Are One Skate Park went on the quintessential California Road trip this summer.
Three Dutchies recently embarked upon a 6.000 kilometer car road trip from Amsterdam through France up to Malaga in Spain and back to Amsterdam. Gas is pretty expensive these days, and they could have traveled by plane - especially in Europe where there's a high amount of low-cost airlines. But check out what you would miss when you decide to travel by plane instead of traveling in a van. For some of us this is the best thing about rollerblading: Traveling with some of your best friends and your skates! Isn't it?
It’s been a while now since the Hedonskate Bladelicious tour around Lithuania has ended, but I still have very strong memories from it. As with every tour, there are successes and failures. But, of course only the best of times stay with you in your mind. This was the first time I took part in organizing the entire event, and along side with Kaspars Alksnis ‘ efforts it went down really well. The first attempt at anything is always a learning experience. Now, I know exactly what to do next time to make it bigger and better.
In the summer of 2011 my mates from Grindhouse told me they wanted to do a tour again, and of course I wanted to be part of it. It's very special to meet up with the team and hang out for more than a week, as you always learn a lot about yourself and about the others on tour with you.
The last update ended with us fixing our car and leaving Kaunas for next stop Palanga, which was only a one hour drive. We arrived in the early evening for a session at the local park with local bladers. We gave away some free Hedonskate stuff again and just had a fun session there. The weather was pretty cold and dark despite it supposed to be summer, but we didn't care.
After suffering the assaults of unfavorable weather on the first 2 stops of the tour, we were hoping to find some good weather down south. It's June 20 and we spent the day on the road again. Torrential rain and weariness does not facilitate the task of our driver, Yannick. He must guide our small group safely to Annecy...
The last update ended with us arriving in Kaunas at an awesome summer house. This is where we celebrated a national holiday - John’s day! Great house with all kinds of people hanging out. Chillin’, drinking and just having fun all night long and going to sleep when sun was already up, because this was the shortest night of the year. That sure was a fun night!
Once again under gray skies we left the English capital towards Dover in order to board the ferry which would take us back to the mainland. The ride was rather good; we played games and we talked about everything and nothing, laughing all the way. After crossing 5 countries and spending approximately 10 hours on the water and the road, we arrived in Germany. Cologne was the second stop of this tour, a destination that also included only one day of skating so we had to be productive.
The RollKings Tour is over and done with but here is a recap of some more of their highlights. Take a peek at some extra bonus clips and photos. If these are their left overs, we can't wait for the finished product.

Traveling all by himself, with the help of locals along the way, Montre spent a whole month touring and shredding in Europe this past summer. The non-extensive list of countries he visited include Holland, Denmark, France and the United Kingdom. And no matter how chill he is, Montre also made sure to kill it. Check out Frenchyfries photo article about his stop in Paris, France.
Razors has released a very cool interview with Fritz Peitzner. Fritz travelled trough Europe for 8 months with his team mate Josh Glowicki this year and is finally back home in Dallas, Texas. Read all about his experience and his plans for the future on Razorskate.com!

It is getting close. The 2012 edition of the Winterclash is waiting for us around the corner and everybody is slowly getting high blood pressure. From the 7th and 8th of February the Winterclash tour will start at the Forward Freestyle Skatepark in Roeselare, Belgium. The climax of this tour will be the three day event in the Area 51 Skatepark in Eindhoven, Netherlands. Of course Be-Mag will provide live updates every day. This huge event is already completely sold out, but don't worry if you don't have your ticket yet. There is a Be-Mag Prize Raffle going on where you can win one of the last tickets around.
