Friday February 11th, 2011 had arrived and the majority of the Tri-State area's rolling family was in attendance for the highly anticipated premiere of the film "Fitted". The Millennium Theatre which seats 100 people comfortably was now packed and ready for showtime. "Fitted", which is the 2nd film from Joseph Perez and ImagyneThat.com, was compiled with some of the best talent that New York and New Jersey has to offer.
Today we want to introduce you to Joseph Perez and want to show you a brand new trailer for his upcoming film "Fitted". Joseph is working hard to get this film finalized. However, it's very difficult for him to fund this project entirely on his own. So he started a kickstarter project. Check out more below and view this promising trailer.
As last week Be-Mag is once again the first online source to provide an edit showing the madness at this year's Last Man Standing 2010. Our New York correspondent Joseph Perez (as well as different others) attended the event to capture the best tricks from the best Street Skaters in this world. Here is a first edit and a first review of the contest. Read on.
New York City is sectioned into 5 boroughs; each borough is a group of closely knit neighborhoods which have their own group of skaters. This makes the tons of skaters in NYC split up into different sections, which also makes it difficult to tell who's on the up-and-up of things.
It's a lot of work to make a DVD, even when one puts all of their energy into it. But when you have to focus on finishing high school/getting into college, a relationship with your girlfriend of two years, your own skating and other aspects of life and work, things can be ever harder.
Ramelle Knight comes up with some serious bangers for his FITTED section. You might recognize some of the NYC spots he is shredding in this section, but some of his tricks he pulls out are pretty unique.
This edit is brought to you by a chill session in Queens, NY that turned into a line frenzy. Trevor Johnson, now residing in Long Island still makes time to come out and kill it. Enjoy.
This is Trevors part in the online video „Peep Game“ with a mixture of footage from the 08-10 period. He recently hurt his knee and wasn't really able to film any new footage but the skating talks for itself. Filmed and edited by Sean Grossman.
The following clips were captured over the summer in the first opening weeks of the new Maloof Skate Plaza located in Flushing Meadows Corona Park. Featuring skaters from all over NYC: Jordan Baez, Carlos Montenegro, Dave Ngo, Joe Dedentro, Michael Valenzuela, Sean Grossman, Angelo Ferrera, Trevor Johnson, John Stephens and Alex Nunez
Check out this 8 minute edit from LMS 2010 in NYC.
