Usually ODNY wasn't suppose to cover this competition but a good friend was awesome enough to hook up the media pass. Immediately when looking at the obstacles, the NY Invitational sets it self apart from all other comps. Offering unique spots to skate like an old beat up Cadillac, constructions tubes, U-haul trailer, and a huge dumpster to name a few. Not to mention that this comp was very reminiscent of the old IMYTA competitions. The obstacles were all put together by the craftsmanship of Jose Disla & the C.O. team along with other NY locals that showed up the day of construction to support and offer a helping hand. New York owes such a great competition to the Bernal Heights Collective - a medicinal marijuana shop from San Francisco whom sponsored the events large prize.
The 3rd and 4th day of the tour was nothing but rain, so we decided to visit another indoor facilities. The one in Czelad. And the one in Pszow, the home town of one of our team riders Radek Kojtych. The parks are rather small, thankfully not so often visited by the locals anymore, but for most of the tour riders it was the first time they had a chance to skate it so it turned out to be not so bad in the end.
Marcin is a perfect example of rolling evolution. Together with a constant changing of his nickname caused by various stories involving his person or notoriously changing jobs Marcin evolved from youngster in sweatpants and way too big TRS`es to one of the most active blader in Poland.
Mike David has always been raw talent. His skating has always been on the next level, and his presence is always positive. The first time I met Mike was back in the TSB days in Toronto, when he tried a massive disaster soul. I thought he was just some crazy guy trying to make a name for himself, but after a while I realized that this guy throws down every time he skates. Pure hammers, and best attitude around. Everyone knows how humble he is, and no one questions his skill. Presenting Mike D everyone.
I was bored in my area so I decided with Dany Molinari and Roman Abrate to go somewhere else and skate some different stuff. We came up with the idea to get to Italy, eat some good food, enjoy the good weather and skate some different spots that haven't been skated before.

Ralf Monnerup is an upcoming talent from Denmark. He recently won the Camp 42 competition again. He went out that one chilly autumn day just to skate some sweet steet spots when he came up with the idea of making a One Minute One Spot edit for Be-Mag. It just took 10 to 15 minutes to film this great edit. Lean back and enjoy the show.
I’ve known Kendall Ware for about ten years now, and he’s always been a super dedicated skater. I can remember little grom Kendall always at the park trying to learn new tricks to put in his trick bag, and all that hard work and dedication really shows in his skating today. Whether it’s skating a little ledge or a huge down rail or even a gap every now and then, Kendall is always down to have a good time, hang out with rollers and do everything you did… and better… but switch, too. I’m half kidding. Kendall is a great guy and a great asset to rollerblading today. He’s always nice to the little rollers and willing to give some pointers, and he’ll never give up on rolling. Bottom line; super nice guy, super technical skater, been in the game a long time (OG). Kendall Ware. Love always, Jaysin Williams
