Baltic Games – the fifth edition of the biggest extreme sports festival in Poland. It is a huge venture with a gigantic skatepark on an international level, plenty of invited guests, and bunch of different attractions for visitors. At the same time it is another great opportunity to show blading to outsiders in a good light. What can be said about the BG 2012?
After suffering the assaults of unfavorable weather on the first 2 stops of the tour, we were hoping to find some good weather down south. It's June 20 and we spent the day on the road again. Torrential rain and weariness does not facilitate the task of our driver, Yannick. He must guide our small group safely to Annecy...
Once again under gray skies we left the English capital towards Dover in order to board the ferry which would take us back to the mainland. The ride was rather good; we played games and we talked about everything and nothing, laughing all the way. After crossing 5 countries and spending approximately 10 hours on the water and the road, we arrived in Germany. Cologne was the second stop of this tour, a destination that also included only one day of skating so we had to be productive.
It's about 6am in the morning, I am with Nicolas Auroux and Mathieu Heinemann in this train bringing us to the meeting spot of the 3rd edition of the famous Nomades Tour. We are the first to arrive, quickly followed by Warren Digne and Robert Guerrero. Finally Mathias Silhan and Stefan Horngacher are here after a hard night partying...It's a rainy first day on our way to Calais, taking a ferry-boat to Britain's south coast.
At this year's FISE 2012 in Montpellier, France inline skaters are in for a treat. No longer will they have to share the same course with other action sports, they will have a unique opportunity to ride a new blade specific course similar to slopestyle skiing and snowboarding. Take a sneak peek at the obstacles that some of the world's best pros will tear up this weekend.
Warren is from France and skates for Rollerblade. Two good reasons to ask him how he feels about Winterclash. He also is extremely passionate about Blading. There you have reason three.

When we arrive in Vienna it rains. We use this day to relax, work on the edits and the pictures in hopes that tomorrow will be better. After an early and hearty breakfast, Wolf, our guide for this stop, arrives at exactly 10am, ready to help us to discover the city. He takes us to a long S-shaped red curb, a bit jaded by the many riders that have previously skated it but our team is happy to have a go at it. The session suddenly comes to an end by the heavy rain that starts to fall on our heads. While Rob continues to grind the pavement he gets soaked to the bone.
Despite a significant delay of about 10 hours, we are finally greeted in Ljubljana by a horde of pretty girls littering the streets as if they were all given an appointment for the event. Everyone is quite amazed to see such a high concentration of beautiful women and we feel the male hormones waking up. Samo Bajec, our guide here, is waiting for us at a street corner. He takes us directly to the skatepark he built with the help of his friends.
Check out this video of team Rollerblade visiting Switzerland for a weekend. With footage from Basel, Zurich and Zug. Skating by Adrian Deck, Warren Digne, Jeremy Suarez, Timmy van Rixtel, Jan Ebbert, Sven Boekhorst and Guillaume Le Gentil! Edit by Mihai Bivol.
A group of friends found this cool skatepark in an old Roman Catholic church, called the Jozefkerk. In 2009 the local Skatepark in Arnhem, the Netherlands, burned down so the local skaters started looking for a new location which had to be at least 1000m2. After some research, they finally found this church which has been empty for the last five years. Blessed by the parish of St. Eusibeus they started building this unique skatepark. Now four years later the skatepark is well-known in the scene because of social media so some European riders/friends had the idea to visit the church with a smoke machine, cameras, cranes and extra lights. Check out their private session all under the eyes of god himself. -Sven Boekhorst

At Be-Mag we are very grateful for the support Nomades Shop provides for both our print and online publications. That's why we have decided to not only bring you updates of the tour in our articles section, but also put up a post in the news where you can find all videos the guys are producing. This also makes sense because they're doing an exceptional job at that and we believe this needs to be seen. Thanks to Nomades for the support!
