Good things are happening in France. The scene in Bordeaux recently threw down the West Coast Contest in their hometown skatepark. While this event is pretty young it was well organized and a good experience for everyone that attended. Due to the weather conditions only Amateur Qualification -16 was held. It pretty much rained all the way to the evening. A sunny day has been announced for tomorrow so check back soon!

After getting rained out the whole morning the competition is about to start right now. See how the events attendees killed some time till the ramps dried up. The first edition of the West Coast Contest will take place on the 7th and 8th of May at Skatepark des Chartrons in Bordeaux, France. Contest and party ambiance will make for a great weekend near the Garonne river. Bordeaux Rollerblading Association (BRA) and Octopus Association collaborate for their first skateboard and rollerblading contest. The West Coast Contest is also a photography contest open for everybody to participate. The best photos will be chosen by the public!
