“Rollschuhlaufen” – A video by Daniel Gourski

The term "Rollschuhlaufen" is German and a minimization of Rollerblading, more oriented to the activity of recreational quad skating. If you're invited to go "Rollschuhlaufen", you know you're up to good times blading with the homies in a non-competitive manner. Not exactly dinky are the tricks Daniel Gourski, Eugen Enin, Jo Zenk and others attempted while filming for this video in Spain and Germany in 2010. The feel good vibe of "Rollschuhlaufen" is present throughout the whole thing though. Have a look!

There, the crew consisting of Sacha Lopez, Daniel Prell, Maik Lojewski, Timm Kittlitz, Alex Rudolf and Daniel Gourski destroyed every obstacle and party place in their path. You know the deal: When the Grindhouse is on tour, madness is the daily routine. Here you can peep the first part of the "Grindhouse Tour 2011 in Barcelona"-series featuring Sacha Lopez. Sacha injured his hands some days before the tour, but obviously this didn't hold him back.

Up and Comers: Jo Zenk

The usual introductions start with the moment when you first met the guy to be interviewed. In this specific case I have to say, that I am not quite sure where I met Johannes the first time, but I am sure about the fact that as soon as I got to know him a little I hated him instantly. Never would I ever hang out with that guy. Life can teach you tough lessons and the one that I was taught when it comes to Johannes Zenk is, that you should never judge someone on first sight.

Grindhouse in Barcelona: Alex Rudolf

First of all, it has been like a year since our a great tour. At first, it was uncertain if we’d even be able to go or not. But, we lucked out and everything came together to make tour and the Try to Roll Contest happen in 2011 for us. Kicking it off, we headed straight to BCN.

Be-Mag 2011 Showreel Video by Matthis Lapaire

Contributors from Be-Mag come from all over the world. In fact, one of the aspects that make this media outlet so successful is the joint effort given from the rolling world covering every rideable inch of the globe. Aggressive skating, while seemingly non-existent to the pop-culture world, has grown in leaps and bounds over the past few years. The dynamic has changed in so many ways since the early 1990s that each aspect in growth of style, amplitude, technology, culture, etc. has gone through it’s own little piece of the overall revolution.
