One Minute One Spot: Victor Legrand

I'll always remember this call I receive seven years ago. A girl told me that she was flirting with a rollerblader guy named Victor he was supposed to come to our town to visit his cousins see her and hopefully skate. We ended up living together six years later his room was a tent in the middle of my living room… (ask Micheal Garlinghouse or the people from the London time haha). This guy has so much energy you will see him destroy a rib high rail take off his skates drink a bottle of whiskey 5 feet of tequila shots on the bar, make an entire room sing old French songs ,end up in some girls bed he met in front of a night club waking up after 3 hours of sleep to complete a hard day of proletarian labour and he will still make you laugh. He is truly passionate human being and his devotion to skating is outsized. He deserves his place in the rollerblading industry so look forward to meet him!

Victor Legrand SSM Promo on Frenchy Fries

Having written about Victor in different media outlets a few times already, I might fail at stating anything new or truly original today. I'm just like you actually: I watch his skating progress and I can't help but be amazed by the fast pace he's been keeping, on the fast lane to blade fame. -Freddy White

Up and comers: Victor Legrand

Victor Legrand is just a child, but he's been on a quick rise here on the French scene. As we live pretty far apart, we only get to see each other once in a while. Every chance I get to watch him skate though, I am amazed by how much he has progressed since the last time. Most of you reading this will have no clue what I'm talking about: once you've watched this edit Fred Simcic kindly put together, you'll have to wait until the next one to fully comprehend my words. Victor is nowhere near the top of his game yet, but he's getting up there fast. As for myself, I am incredibly proud to see his skating become more impressive every day, as well as to see my son grow up as a person!

French SSM Team at Foch Invitational

Despite the shitty weather and wet spot, the Foch Invitational was quite an incredible event! Victor Legrand, Louis Vilar & Rémy Meister put on quite a show for the crowd in attendance! Short but sweet!
