Brian Weis talks about head injuries, hockey and skating in the D

Brian Weis sets a standard for up-and-coming rollerbladers. Although he may be a new name to some, he has been straight ripping well over a decade. Detroit's finest brought the best out of a young Brian Weis. Nowadays he's a hardworking, beer drinking, dog discipling, pool shooting, shit talking, college graduate that faithfully keeps shredding number one. Fresh off of the injured reserve list, Brian is rested and ready to blade.

Sixwonsix @ Woodward East Week 6

The SixWonSix Team featuring Brian Murphy, Gary Murphy, Mikey Blair, Brian Weis has been shredding Woodward West in July. Check out what went down there here on be-mag.

In the Know: Don Bambrick

Don Bambrick is a class act. Not only does he rip when he blades, but he can also beat some ass on a ping-pong table… a pool table… or a dartboard. Just not on a poker table... On any regular day, you might find him babysitting his nieces with his lady, working around the house, or cheering on the Red Wings. Don’s blading reflects an athlete’s precision along with an artist’s passion; he has an excellent eye. He is closing 2011 with the most refined USD Carbon yet, and entering 2012 with a no-holds-bar section for VX. Blading is on the up and up, and Don is right there with it.

Up and Comers: Sean Grossman

New York City and it's surrounding areas have always been a breeding grounds for incredible rollerblading talent. It's arguable that it could be one of the best scenes in the world. In recent years as big name talent has left the area for greener pastures and different opportunities, a new breed of Tri State talent has been getting more shine. The first person that always immediately comes to my mind when I think of New York and blading these past three years is Sean Grossman. Between countless edits of himself and others, his online video 'Peep Game', and his upcoming video 'Big Apple Blade', Sean has single handedly put himself at the forefront of New York City rollerblading media. I have loved watching Sean's progression the past few years, and couldn't be prouder to present to you supreme connoisseur, Long Island resident, style buff, and my very good friend, Sean Grossman.
