Over the course of three years, Italian photographer and Be-Mag correspondent Pietro Firrincieli traveled the world in an unprecedented attempt to capture not just blading as an activity, but the whole lifestyle and culture that surround it and make these little platic boots under our feet such a great tool to explore the world and live a meaningful life. This whole project, he named the Blade Diary, and it has been quite an intense experience so far!
On both sides of the Atlantic, Pietro has covered several events, from local contests to the heavy hitters like Summerclash or Blading Cup, and attended countless road trips that led him to fly to America with only a few dollars in his pockets, or hit up Mexico for an improvised tour around the country. Many of these have been featured extensively on both our print magazine and this very website, and some will most likely end up in Pietro’s most ambitious project to date!
In the last two years, he has been going through the massive amount of photographs he’s shot in order to cut it down to the very best in his upcoming 18x12cm, 126 pages book, and we have never been closer to the actual release! As he is now messing with the final prototypes and setting up the preorder site & video, we wanted to take the chance to feature some of Pietro’s very best work on the site once more: join the journey, and better get yourself a copy of the book, too!
