Baltic Games 2010

Baltic Games is definitely more than an ordinary festival, it unites different extreme sports events at one big event: a skateboarding competition held at the best ever constructed skatepark in Poland, the first skimboard course in the centre of the city, a Rollerblading competition with riders from all over the world and the BMX finals with over 2000 spectators going wild while the top European riders put on their incredible show. Different DJs will be there filling the air with hot beats and keeping the hype up. Baltic Games is an event which should be on your to go list!

For the three days, “Plac Zebra? Ludowych” will be the place to be – stunning skatepark designed from scratch where all participants will fight for the podium! As every year, Baltic Games will hold rollerblading part. Rollerblading warm-ups and eliminations starts on Thursday (19th of August) at 12:00. Eliminations are opened for everybody who wants to prove himself in the main event scheduled for the 20th of August. Entrance fee is only 20 PLN, which allows the participants to compete, pass for the whole event and official after party.

To make it even more prestigious, rollerblading contest during Baltic Games is included in WRS and PRL ranking. What`s more there will be a nice cash prizes to all podium winners! Friday is the day of semi-finals – the best bladers from Thursday`s eliminations and invited guests. The full rider list can be found at www.balticgames.pl. Finals and best trick contest is scheduled for Saturday 21st of August, at 18:00. Contest will be held in Jam format – 3 minute runs of 5 people simultaneously, and finals with single runs. If you will need some fresh clothes or equipment, the main sponsor of rollerblading part – Hedonskate will have a booth with crazy deals for your pleasure!
