Perspectives on Winterclash 2012: Daniel Prell

Are you coming to Winterclash? If not, why?

I just booked my hotel today. I haven’t checked for trains though but I’m pretty positive that I’ll be able to make it.

What set up are you going bring to Winterclash?

Probably my USD Carbon Free Richie Eisler with some Undercover Eisler wheels. Frame of choice: Kizer Fluid 3. So basically a Richie Eisler skate but with another frame. I just love the flex of the Carbon Frees. I’m about to receive a new Carbon 3 but I don’t want to bring a skate to Winterclash I didn’t have the chance to break in beforehand.

What are you looking forward to the most?

Entering the park and feeling like I just came home. Hanging out with people I didn’t see for a long time. Skating the new obstacles. The after party. Winterclash.

Do you compete? No matter if yes or no, tell us why you do or don’t.

I’m going to skate for sure. Not sure if I would call it competing though. I don’t really enjoy skating in parks this crowded but then again I simply can’t resist either – especially if there are new obstacles. Only problem is that I also have to film. I have no Idea how I am going to manage all that…

What was your coolest personal Winterclash moment?

The pre party of Winterclash 2010 at Waterloo in Berlin. The whole city was covered in ice and snow and it took us hours to decide which club to go to. But it ended up as one of the best parties ever. Just me and some of the most awesome people having a blast. Also every year when I finish the Grindhouse Winterclash edit. Feels great.
