Billy O’Neil & Austin Paz podcast...

This could be good. Ever since Kevin Dowling quit doing “The Dirty Show”, there’s been a lack of quality podcasts from guys who got to do all the fun stuff. There are podcasts from shop owners, guys who write books, and just some random dudes who interview people, but no one who was in it during the golden age, and can still get down. I look forward to quality banta and hopefully some good stories and insight. I’d like to mention the “Dirty Show” again if you never listened to it. Hilarious.

Is the Dirty Show still available anywhere? I haven’t listened to that since it was released

Billy is a really articulate and seemingly very grounded dude who has reached as high a level as almost anyone and seen the good and the bad within the "industry" first-hand as well as laying down some of the most stylish hammers of all time.

Hard to think of many who would be better to listen to, given the above. Hope they're successful.

Cannot wait to listen to this, looks really professional from what I've seen so far and like you say they've actually been involved in the industry, particularly Fish. This Wednesday they have the Kelso's on with them, hopefully to talk about the Bacemint skate amongst other things.

I enjoyed it, helped pass the time at work. Also, the Bacemint skate, I like them, but also think they're kinda rank. Does anyone know, were they meant to be a V13 and are now being picked up by Roces?

I would imagine that's the case. Valo was probably doing it but was a bit too late, whereas the Vibralux skate came out in time (and now apparently AJ can't shift them). Now Valo's gone but they have samples of them or potentially have already done a run of them. I think they look cool, and Roces need to do a dark coloured low cuff skate, so this could be it. With the Bacemint guys pushing them they'll sell, be a tough one to call for some people though as to whether to get these or THEM.

(I'm probably way off with all of the above!)

Just saw its in Stitcher, which is great because you can't download unless YouTube premium. I don't really sit around and listen to podcasts. More on the go, in the car otw to skate. Looking forward to these.

I started listening this weekend, and it's a great podcast. I've listened to the first Kelso episode, Farmer, Miguel, Lomax, and Julio. I mostly listen in the car, so I miss out when they watch old sections of the guest, but it's still a good listen, and if you've seen the videos a lot you know what they're talking about even if you can't see it.

if we are in the topic of podcasts , you can`t go wrong with the pioneers - Mushroom Blading was doing it before everyone else yet there are still plenty of us who missed it - there is so huge archive on their site.

One of the single best podcast episodes I've ever heard is in the How To Be Unpopular archives. I can't remember which episode, which is a drag, but they cover so much philosophical ground stemming out from blading, it's a great episode.

jump street is an alright podcast. i feel austin brings it down sometimes with his interruptions and corny shit but hey, hes a legend in his own right. the mushroom blading podcast was cool until they started to repeat the same shit over and over again. listen to the 2012 shows, they had a spark back then.

Love JumpStreet. I wish the most recent Kelso one had more insights. I look forward to it every week tho. Sometimes too many tangents.
