I work as a PA at a movie studio and rec/urban skate when I can. I have too many chronic back injuries to skate aggressive unfortunately. I follow blading thoroughly on social media and go to blade cup every year.

Still here- creeping mostly and a post every now and again.

Moved to Hawaii last year from Wisconsin, started skating more, and linked up with the Aloha Blade Crew.

Trying to get into medical device sales out here.

              Been a solid transition .

Fuck, I try to post here still, but there's no real reason anymore. I've been traveling Europe for a month MC'n blade contests and running Blade Club Originals. Right now I'm working on some upgrades for our second run of backpack production, getting samples for the wallet we designed, and trying to slang these neon pink wheels. Lucky enough to be doing it all from the Athens Blade House at the moment.

Working at McDonald's. According to my spreadsheet, I should have enough saved for a pair of the internationally coveted ThemSkates by mid August.

Also designing, CNCing and testing unthinkably blasphemous soul plate and frame configurations

I do, but I usually get shot down, or called a fag, as Be-Mag is wont to do.
I skate and play music ✌️✌️✌️

Just moved to Cincinnati. Haven't skated in years. Have a pair of blades that are sitting in a closet, somewhere. I watch more skateboard edits (usually strobeck and the nyc dudes) than blading but there are a few dudes on Instagram who are killing shit: dima_markrushin, this_is_egor_loginov, stephen swain, and robdaltonskate. Those dudes and the Japan crew are the only people who I pay attention to. They seem to actually give a fuck about what their skating looks like and aren't just flailing around like idiots.

Also, terribly heart broken and just come out of an emotionally abusive relationship so life doesnt have much meaning atm

I'm still alive. I'm an officer in the Marine Corps commanding an electronic warfare platoon among other things. My knee constantly feels like it's going to explode and not a day goes by that I don't miss rollerblading.

I'm currently going through a divorce after being married for nearly 13 years.

I've also dropped from 245 lbs. to 215 lbs. due to a pretty wild bout of depression about a month back. There was no appetite to speak of, sometimes only eating a few bites of food per day, and I jumped up to 2 packs of smokes per day. Most of my clothes don't fit me anymore.

I'm a bit of a fucking mess, but I'm hopeful that when the divorce is settled I can find a woman who makes me genuinely happy.

The WYII Woodward East trip is just a few weeks away and that's the only bright spot on my horizon for the immediate future.

Last year I had hurt my back a month or so before the trip and didn't get to skate very much. This year I have been taking great care of my back so I hope to skate for more than a few minutes on my 3rd (and probably final) trip to Woodward.

you don't need a partner to be genuinely happy and you definitely shouldn't go looking for a crutch.

Youre a very strong man for getting through all that and coming out the other side with a bit of lost weight! This is a perfect time to see who you are and what makes you happy. You cant go relying on others for happiness because if they leave, then your happiness goes with them. However I think I know what you mean, someone who can partner with you and grow your life and happiness, and someone you can look at and truly never want to let go. I like to think we all find joy in skating, its a perfect escape from the world when we need it the most.

Extra money? Hell no. This is going to be a moderately expensive* divorce. $10,000-$15,000 at least. Everything else i agree with.

*expensive to me, my debt to income ratio is really thin.

I like to think we all find joy in skating, its a perfect escape from the world when we need it the most.

But I mean shit what do I know, im a self-hating mess.

Also yes, youre way ahead of the curve on baggy clothes. Come join the only-wear-baggy-sweatpants-and-skate-loose-remz club. It looks sick and skates even sicker.
Thank you for saying that. I don't feel strong. Most days I shut myself off from everyone. I have been skating a lot more often, so at least i have that going for me.

And yes, you did get what i meant about a partner, etc. That is exactly what I want. And I somehow tricked myself into thinking that I had that with my wife, or maybe thought we'd get there eventually. But we didn't and we won't. And that's OK.
